The fact of the matter is that to earn money on the internet without a brick and mortar company backing you or no real live tangible product to sell affiliate marketing is the way to go.
Over the years there has this avenue of income has gotten some bad media.
But truth be told with a little ingenuity, creativeness, consistency and good old fashioned hard work you really can earn extra income using affiliate marketing.
Now honestly unless you have the luck of the Irish on your side you are not going to get rich immediately in affiliate marketing.
But as the name states with some savvy and consistent marketing you can create multiple streams of regular income using some proven strategies around affiliate marketing programs.
Not to be confused as many people do with the infamous MLM (Multi Level Marketing) for the majority of the affiliate programs out there you don't have to necessarily recruit a huge down line to be successful.
Affiliate marketing is based on simple old fashioned selling.
Get people to see your program and hope they buy.
Just as Wal-mart and Target and many other stores do every day through television commercials, radio, and newspapers.
The only difference is that big companies have millions of dollars to get there product in front of people, and Most affiliate marketers are working on a tight budget.
Let's face it the average marketer is doing it to make more money, if they didn't need the money they probably wouldn't be trying to make more.
The key is to find a marketing strategy that you can implement and that get results and duplicate it.
This alone is a big part of being a successful marketer.
Another tip I can give that has helped me over the years is to be dedicated, remember this is not an overnight get rich program and if any program offers immediate riches for little or no work I would be very skeptical of it.
Affiliate marketing will take some time, and work to get going and even more work to remain successful.
You can be successful with minimal time meaning 2 to 3 hours a day but just be aware that the less time and work you put in the longer it will probably take you to start making any money.
Next tip is to get organized.
The more companies you are affiliated with the more money you can potentially make.
However the more companies you are affiliated with the more you can lose track of what you are promoting, user id's and password, website address, where you have submitted ads, when you last submitted ads etc.
So in this case it will take some organization to keep track of all of this.
Now the big affiliate sites like Clickbank and Paydotcom will track a lot of this for you which is great, but it also helps to track you advertising which the big sites won't.
